  147. ===== Installation =====================================

  149. The installation procedure for Lotto Thunder is quite simple. Lotto
  150. Thunder may come in several formats. One format may be to install from a
  151. floppy disk using a install batch file (files on floppy would be
  152. INSTALL.BAT and LOTTOT14.EXE). Or, a ZIP file format (file would be
  153. LOTTOT14.ZIP) downloaded from a BBS, a ZIP file on CD-ROM, or a ZIP file
  154. on a floppy disk .
  155.  
  156. You will need about 2.0 meg of available disk space on the hard drive on
  157. which you plan to install Lotto Thunder.
  158.  
  159. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received Lotto
  160. Thunder.
  161.  
  162. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES USING INSTALL.BAT
  163.  
  164. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  165.  
  166.    o  Place Lotto Thunder distribution diskette "Disk 1" in the
  167.    appropriate diskette drive.
  168.  
  169.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.BAT" program on the distribution diskette.
  170.    For example, if the distribution diskette is on drive A:, type the
  171.    MS-DOS command, "a:", then type "install c:", for installing on to
  172.    drive c:.
  173.  
  174.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program. You
  175.    will have a chance to approve installation before any changes are
  176.    actually made to the contents of your hard drive.

  179. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  180.  
  181. If you downloaded Lotto Thunder from a BBS, or from a CD-ROM (or
  182. received it in the form of archive files from some other source), you
  183. will need to perform the following steps.
  184.  
  185.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  186.    directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this varies,
  187.    depending on the form in which you received the package. In all
  188.    likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means that you
  189.    already have the necessary tools and knowledge to perform this step.
  190.    If not, you should be able to obtain directions for this from the
  191.    same source from which you received the package.

  193. Once you've complete the installation, you should consult the documents
  194. (filename extension "doc") which have been installed.  In particular,
  195. read at least the "Overview" and "Quick Start" sections of the file
  196. "THUNDER.DOC".  That document will tell you how to invoke the program,
